Well, this was embarrassing, Rome thought, looking down on the blonde haired man. The Germanic’s expression was the same, blank look but the vibe Rome got was that he was being judged; very, very harshly.
“Hey, Germania,” he greeted confidently, refusing to let the elf get the best of him.
There was a moment of silence and Rome wondered if Germania was going to leave him hanging. “What are you doing?” He finally asked and his tone proved that the other nation was indeed judging the empire.
“It’s funny that you ask that,” Rome replied, forcing a laugh. “You see, I was thinking about you…”
“…Continue.”
“And I figured the best way to catch an elf-“ Rome was oblivious to how much sharper Germania’s glare became—“Was to act like an elf.”
His lips were fixed into a thin line and Germania glared up at the Roman. Rome held his breath and let out a heavy sigh when the Germanic’s gaze softened and he spoke, “I see,” In an understanding tone.
“Good, good.” Rome cheered, “Now, will you help me?” He asked only to see Germania continue on his way. “Hey, hey, don’t be like that. Germaniaaa---“ He whined but his complaints fell onto deaf ears.
Germania left Rome up in the tree.
